奈克林顿 grew up in upstate New York in a household that valued education and reading. His father held a PhD in chemistry and worked in that field throughout his career. 他的父母很重视旅行, so as a family they would regularly travel to places to learn about culture, 历史或建筑. 在高中时, 他参加了NJROTC, was a member of a poetry club, and played basketball and football. He attended SUNY Buffalo to study literature and film, earning a BA and MA at an accelerated pace.
在他目前的职位上, Clinton serves as the Associate Dean of Undergraduate 项目 within the College of Health Professions. 在这个角色中, he works in conjunction with the University’s curriculum team and the College of Health Profession’s College Curriculum Manager to continually improve the undergraduate programs.
After completing his MA degree, he traveled to Japan to teach English for roughly 4 years. Upon his return to the United States, he began to work at University of Phoenix in a variety of roles including enrollment, 学生服务, faculty training and faculty coaching. Since joining University of Phoenix roughly 20 years ago, he has completed two additional master’s degree programs as well as a PhD program. Being able to see issues from the vantage point of students, staff in various functional roles and faculty has proven very helpful to him throughout his career at the University.
